Freerange Exhibition
From the work Ambiguity exhibited at The Truman Brewery London 22nd-26th June 2017.
Ambiguity captures a sense of mystery, manipulation with reliance on cultural imagery. These factors enable the work to be seen in a way that forces the onlooker to provide their own visual interpretation of an untouchable land. The way the work is exhibited is important within Ambiguity as the relationship between geometry, distance and space acts as a sensory suggestion of the unfamiliar, the uncanny. All of these factors help to distort what the reality of the photographs is and therefore leave it open to one or more interpretation or as stated earlier inexactness.
